I am a veteran writer and editor who began my career with Fred Flintstone and a manual typewriter. 
I have written for and edited newspapers, magazines and, for the last 10 years, the Internet.
I have published 13 books on personal finance and investing. I write and edit a Web site for investors: stocks.about.com.
I am now on the Corporate Communications staff of Marshfield Clinic in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
My wife and I have six children between us and one grandson. We enjoy our cabin in the woods of Door County when we can get away.
