Trip to ancestral home inspires Clinic doctor
January 20, 2010Julio Hochberg, a Clinic plastic surgeon, grew up in Brazil, the son of Jewish Polish immigrants. His father was a shoemaker who created a successful business, Sparta, making soccer shoes.
But Hochberg, who became the first physician in the family, never knew how significant it was that he became a medical doctor until he made his first trip to Poland in 1970.
The Marshfield News Herald ran an interesting article about Dr. Hochberg and his trips to a village in Poland.
